Yes we are def having the halibut, filet and a chicken. what about you? everything is amazing so the coctail hour will be difficult. did you book all of your vendors?

We're doing the dessert Cafe... but i don't know which desserts we're choosing yet.....I know the flourless chocolate cake is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!! So that will definitely be a choice.

Yes we are doing the ch. cake, creme brulee and the fruit basket. Nothing iis final yet though. DH wants canoli but I think its all too heavy with that choc. cake.

our tasting will be in the spring so i'm not sure about our menu yet. thanks for sharing your menu choices!!!!
as for vendors, so far i've booked: photo - len marks video - timeless treasures music - onbeat entertainment
i ordered my dress from Kleinfelds a few weeks ago and I'm starting to look for BM dresses! Eeeek! i would love to start on the florist, limos, hotel, etc, but everything is slow for me because I live in VA. i'm planning to move back to NY this winter!
has anyone booked a florist yet?

Yes I just booked my florist yesterday..... Flower Michele... I looked there, Burton's and Dalsimer. I thought FM seemed to come up with the best ideas that i liked...they were all reasonably priced.

i just found out that my catering manager left the carltun. my new catering manager is caryn. does anyone else have her? she seemed nice on the phone.

We finally booked our honeymoon to Maui and Kauai last weekend!
I have my tasting scheduled for May. Has anyone done their tasting yet? Which salads and entrees did you try?

I just got back from my menu appointment at the Carltun.. we were there 2 hours but finalized the whole menu and cake etc. It was a great appointment! Anyone else go yet??

Did any of you hear that the Carltun is under new management?? We had our DJ appointment tonight and he knew about it... but i didn't really ask too many questions because everything seems to be fine... i was just wondering if any of you knew... i read that one of the maitr'd's left or something... but i guess like any other job.. people come and go
