2007Official GTG Location Poll: Long Island or Manhattan

Ok, so for the Manhattan one, is everyone cool with Midtown?

I know when Ntunison was trying to organize it before, a few people suggested Metro 53. Never been there myself, but apparently it's a good place.

midtown is fine for me.... Metro 53 is fun! but we don't even necessarily need to do a club if it's a weds night...

well it's like a loungy bar club... haha, i have no clue -- i've been there before but at night. i use club interchangeably with other words (obviously)...

Metro 53 looks cool

metro 53 and opal are right in the same area- i love both
they are both loungey bars. never been to either one on a wednesday.

metro is on 53rd between 1st and 2nd

opal is on 52nd between 2nd and 3rd

i vote opal!! its a little bigger ...right on the corner, easy to find.
speaking of easy to find, how will we find eachother?

Which place? Metro 53 looks really cool, but Opal is closer to me (LOL, to get home I have to be on the West Side), but I'd go to either.

Yeah I guess name tags might stick out in a bar. Any other ideas for how we can ID each other and get to know names easily? I've never been to one of the GTG, so maybe someone who has can give us a good idea?

6:30pm is ok with me. So if anyone has been to either and wants to decide on either place, that would work.

but wait according to the poll Nassau is wining, I guess us LI girls are out oh well I guess, can't make NYC on a weekday work on the island and wouldn't get there till much later, I'll catch the next one

well, i was thinking about the name tag idea to be able to know who's who when we finally meet up!

as for spotting each other at the place, if opal of metro 53 allow us to reserve a table, we can just ask the hostess for the group of girls from LIW or whatever 'code name' the person who makes the reservation states, no?
