2009 Bridal Shower Planners

OK girls so there is a lot of talk and excitement about our shower!!
We just wanted to let you girls know that if you have any questions about the shower to contact one of the planners...
Right now it seems that the following girls are planning the shower...

If anyone has a question, please feel free to send us FM it would be easy for us if you CC in all of us that way we can keep track of everything easier.
So any questions, ideas, or anyone that wants to help please feel free to FM us!

Hmm...it seemed like there were more girls than that who were interested in being 'bridal planners' I know I offered to help and Mazz actually made some calls...I know you aren't trying to but that post seems a bit exclusive...especially when others have offered..I know a lot of the older girls had expressed an interest too...lets try to keep it open to all of us, no?

I am pretty sure she said if anyone else wants to help to FM - we are not trying to be exclusive or cause drama... we are just trying to do something nice for all of us so that we can continue to have fun with one another while we help each other through the wedding planning process

I agree with Lauren... I was actually the one to say lets get a move on and pretty much decided on the place for us (although michelle came up with it) Nothing semeed to be getting done otherwise...

I dont think people should be singled out like that... Michelle came up with the place so she should be head girl in charge of all those details. Then someone should be in charge of doing the guestlist/choosing who gets who as a secret santa type deal....

Other than those 2 positions, I dont think there is any need for other people. It seemed like you disregarded everyone else that put in their 2 cents on that thread and that's not really fair.

well I wrote the post to let everyone knwo that they are def welcome to help plan! it wasnt to tell people that WE are the only ones planning this... wehave had ALOT of girls help and express interest and its hard for us to keep track so it was a post to let everyone know that if they want to help let us know!

Its great to have project managers in charge of different tasks and have people help them with the planning. Its like having committees and they will be the chairs. Please let us know who will be the chair and all people who will be helping.

You should deinitely delegate certain tasks and have a list of the activities to be accomplished.

I am willing to help anyone and everyone just let me know what assistance I can provide.

If you cant tell I am a project manager in real life.

a lot of people are helping and all will be included as evite will say all are welcome to plan whatever phase is necesary. Logistically i think too many persons going to place or collecting money could be a prob. i work a block from davenport and am willing to foot the deposit for now so as far as that goes i believe one person is the best but DIY projects and any other ideas are welcome!!! this is OUR SHOWER!!!!!!!! all '09 brides

Honestly i am looking soooo forward to the shower and can handle booking as I am right there- i did not book sooner since we needed real head count and I work there and close to Mineola weekdays and not weekends. If ok i will book and give deposit and communicate via a post tonight who said yes as of now

other stuff for the shower should and will be shared by all

Is this really a big deal? We can all be involved but I agree that there should only be a few people in charge. Who cares who organizes it? We are all going to go and have fun.

We should all think of this as our shower and be open to everyones help and ideas (given the majority) since we cant make everyone happy.

Thanks michelle for laying out the money for the deposit. Now that the location is decided what different committees should there be?

After the shower - I think it would be great to have a photo montage of the event, anyone good with photoshop?

this whole planning thing has got completly out of hand! this site is getting completly outta hand! w t f.. i dont understand how ppl who have not been on this site for a month are head charge of planning this there was a bunch of us at our first g2g that had all these ideas and were gonna do something...

I dont care who organizes it, I agree it should be like 2 people though... and I said this in an earlier post that probably got lost in the shuffle....

i can see though how it could be regarded as a lil 'presumptuous' for the planners to say 'well, these are the people that seem to be planning it' ... I was on that thread as were others, but we were never mentioned
