2010 bride...now an '09er!!!

Hi ladies! I hope you have room for one more bride....we went to book our summer 2010 wedding and came back with a summer 09 one. So, I'm excited and frantic at the same time. I'm a little behind on - just about everything and hope you don't mind all the questions I'll be asking.

Here's the first one -
I am going dress shopping today - how long are your dresses taking to come in? I am being told 6-8 months AGHHHHHHHHH!!!!! I don't have that much time

Welcome and Congrats you can ask them to rush it for you. Mine took almost 9 months the regular way

Congrats! Dresses can take that long to come in but some dresses can come in quicker and also some bridal stores can get dresses in quicker than others.
But don't stress and enjoy the experience. Everything will come together and your wedding will be great!

Congrats and welcome.
You can pay an extra fee to have a dress rushed; so don;t stress out you can do it!

as for the dress...i orderd mine last month and it will not be coming in any earlier than august

Welcome and congrats!!! I once read somewhere that when you go dress shopping tell them that your wedding is before and they will rush your order..they don't want to lose your business so they will do what they can to get your business and get your dress to you..Tell them that your wedding is in May maybe they can get it to you by April...Ask all the questions you want the girls on here are great.

Awwww Congrats!!!!!!!!!!! Welcome on the 09 boards!!

My dress still has not come in.. I ordered it in March and I only had my Muslin fitting so far... it shoudl come in in March they say...good luck with planning!!
