Where are all of you having your reception? Upstairs? Downstairs?

My CH will be in the bigger room downstairs and the Reception is upstairs.

We are the two down stairs room. Your CH room is what we are using for my reception room. We are only about a 100. What colors are you using?

I wish I only had 100, I LOVED the two downstairs rooms AND you get to have the outdoor patio area for the reception, I only get it for the cocktail. I'm looking at at least 200 guests... prob more!

For colors, I think I am deciding on Navy... my BP will wear Navy dresses with black lace sashes and my 2 MOHs will wear the navy dress with white satin sashes.

I was thinking light brown and gold tones at first, but I was worried that it would be too much in that upstairs room, I want some contrast you know? The flowers will probably be blues, purples and lavenders, but the tall long branch style.

What about you?

Your dresses and flowers are so pretty!!! I love the lace sash! I am doing terquise (sp) BM dresses, I am thinking white and pink flowers and doing anything that is written in goldish ink lol. I want to put more terquoise in I just have to figure out how still.

I went to a wedding in the upstairs room and it was WONDERFUL and the view was great I do love that we have the outdoor area the whole time but I am a little worried that people may stay out there the whole time (I am going to want to lol)

That sounds like a beautiful color scheme!
The goldish ink is a must! I'll probably do the same!

I think people will stay outside wherever they go! The Venetian is just making it as easy and as nice as possible.
I went to a wedding a couple years ago at the Sand Castle and at any given moment, there were always 10-15 people outside! It just happens, don't worry about it! (I will be outside too, I have a balcony, Thank Goodness!!!)

Oh I found them on Dessy's website, I think they're by aftersix so check that section first!

The one with the lace is style#6222 and the other is #6506
