The one with the lace is style#6222 and the other is #6506

I'm getting married there also. Using the downstairs room for the CH and upstairs for the reception.
Does that mean they will book the downstairs rooms for other parties after my CH is over?

Yes I am using both downstairs rooms. Once CH is over for the wedding that moves upstairs that room gets turned into the room I will use as a reception room.

I am so glad I found this post!! I am a 10/2/2010 Venetian Yacht Club Bride!
I am having my CH in the smaller room all the way to the left when you walk in, and my reception in the downstairs room. There will be another wedding going on - it starts 1 hour before mine and they are using my main reception area for their CH so I am nervous about the one hour turnaround!!
I think I might hire a DOC just to make sure everything is perfect!
I didn't really care that there's another wedding going on at the same time, b/c they aren't allowed to come downstairs to the outside deck and hopefully no one will run into each other - the price, food and view were just too much to give up!!
PS - we have a 175 minimum

Congrats! I love the big downstairs room - we're using that as our CH. We're having our ceremony there also. We're using the upstairs room our reception but our minimum is 160.

I'm doing this after LA blossom suggested it...I'm placing white candles all along the edge of the wall by the windows (there's enough room, and my BM said it was ok) and I'm having blue uplighting!!! I don't know yet if i want to have all white flowers or pinks and whites....maybe it's too many colors.....

I was also considering blue uplighting but i wasn't sure how much lighting you could do with the wall of windows.
I thought when i booked they told me that they lined the entire window line with candles at night....am i remembering wrong? cause i DEFINITELY want that....

Yeah, they told me the same thing about lining the ledge of the windows with votives when i booked with them. i loved that idea. i actually bought more votives cause i wanted a lot on my tables and they told me they only put 5 on the tables i think. i asked if they could put more and the BM told me no lol.

I'm getting married at VYC October 23, 2010!!!! We are using the 2 downstairs rooms, and I am beginning to feel a bit nervous that the CH room is too small....what do you girls think? I think my guest list will be btw 150 and 175
