2011 De Seversky Brides

Thought I would make a thread just for us ... even if we are few and far between! Our 2010 brides will soon start getting married! Anyone going to any of their set ups? Im actually going to one in May if I am not mistaken to see what our venue will look like on our wedding day

As for setups - I didn't know we were allowed to do that! That's awesome, I'd definitely be interested in doing that. How far ahead do you have to call?

And I can't waitt to see pictures of the 2010 brides getting married there!

yayy!! Thanks for starting this.

I went to see a set up for a wedding last month. Melissa said we can come in whenever we want, she basically saud they are booked every weekend for weddings from now up to the fall.

Our next payment is due at the end of May, so we are going to go back to see the grounds when everything is in bloom.

I'm sure we will go back at the end of June to see how it will look for our wedding.

FH and I went in the winter to see it so I can't wait to see it in June.

Are you both having the ceremony outside?

Not a problem ... Im neurotic these days so all the support I can get is a HUGE help! Im onto entertainment and totally stressing. With a traditional type of wedding band size has me concerned. And picking a DJ ... GOD HELP ME!

Totally email Melissa. She sent me all the dates of weddings with a traditional set up. We are going the 22nd of May - right around our wedding date - May 28th.

We are getting married at St Agnes Cathedral. And tomorrow my number drops into the 300s ... AHHHH!?!?! And worse yet, I seem to be SO behind everyone else's bookings!

I haven't started looking for dresses either! Just been looking online but haven't fallen in love with anything enough to go try it on.

Have to go next month or I'll start to fall behind...

I am soooo stoked I have finally found the reception site of my dreams!
Deseversky is a little more than we were planning to spend, but I think it's soooo worth it!

thought i would update ... that we booked our entertainment and are now focusing on our family bbq and all the fun details! our 2010 girls are getting married and soon! so excited for them!

did you all start your dress shopping? if so, where! i need to start!

I can't wait till the 2010 brides get married. I am dying to see their pics!!

We're having the European style.
I saw som earlier posts of people that are adding an extra half hour which we may try to do. That way there's more dancing time.

We're doing European style too! FH didn't want to be ogled by the older crowd who might not dance if we're all in one room I am on the fence about it!

I think it's unique and formal and elegant! I think it will be nice for the guests to sit and enjoy their dinner, talk, catch up, and then party your butt off!

We're doing traditional - dinner and dancing in one room. We were willing to have a smaller guest list to accomodate them in one room (max 150). Thats just us though!

What were you disappointed with?

I don't really have any pics, but I went there this past Satuday to show my MOH and the place looked beautiful. There weren't many flowers, but lots of greenery, and the lawn looked gorgeous!

I took this pic this weekend and love it!
