In the meantime, if you plan on going and haven't done so already, please create a PayPal account. You will receive further instructions on Thursday.
ETA Like I said, all the information and instruction will be posted at 1pm on Thursday. Unfortunately, there's no one time that will work for everyone and I work in the evenings, so I have to post before I leave for work as I don't have internet access there. All I can say is that there will be 55 seats available including the reserved planning committee seats and that there will be a fair and orderly procedure for purchasing tickets.
ETA2: I wasn't originally going to say anything, but I will give you a very general overview on how the process is going to work.
At 1pm, all the details about tickets and RSVPing will be posted. At that time, there will be instructions to send FM to one particular person handling the RSVPs and PayPal transactions. That person, probably in the evening, will send each person in the order she receives the FM's a request via PayPal for $38. Each person has 24 hours to respond to the PayPal request before that tickets gets offered to someone else.
This is as clear as I can be right now. Everything else will be clear on Thursday.

I'm sorry to hear this, but we worked really hard to do this as inexpensively as possible. We're getting 4 hours of time, app, entree, cake, punch, soda and more for less than $38 and we added a little bit to cover some overhead costs. You probably spend more than this when you go to dinner at Applebees with FH so I thought it was a great price fo what we're getting.
i agree. I think its reasonable and i'm poor as well, so no one feel bad if they cant go. it's how life is sometimes ya know?

I think it's great that you're putting this together, and believe me I know that it's tough to get these kind of things organized, but IMHO I feel it's a shame that it's such a limited number of spaces and so I'm not going to take the space of a person who really really wants to go. I'm happy with going to regular g2g's

Just because you can't be on at 1 does not mean you will not get a spot. Not everyone is going. Some can't afford it, have other plans or do not want to participate so just log in when you get home.

There is another post explaining but quickly it is a shower where you buy a ticket to go. It will be attended by 2011 brides (that also paid for their ticket). It's like having a shower but it's for everyone.
Think of it as a big bridal shower where everyone attending is the guest of honor.
Not sure if that explains it clearly enough.

As I already addressed somewhere in this thread, MY business hours are 3-9. Therefore I am posting the invite before I leave for work. Payments can't be remit until after 6 anyway. There are already entries in the thread that address this.
