What color lighting do they provide? Are you having different colors?

i think they only have white and amber and if you want color you either have to buy the gels or hire a lighting company.

Hey gals!
I'm a 2012 De Seversky bride and I'm looking to see who else is getting married here in 2012!?
Also - Are you doing traditional, european, mansion style?
I'm doing European because FH liked the idea of being different and utilizing the whole mansion. I'm kinda torn though because I do like traditional and would love to still have our first dance in the ballroom.
Maybe we'll do ipod in ballroom and DJ in the garden room. Not sure yet...we have time, but I've been struggling with these options. The ballroom is too gorgeous not to utilize it!
We have the same photograhper! Love him!

grey and pink is so nice! so elegant and classy! were having a traditonal reception in the ballroom - so we wont be doing any uplighting. personally i dont like it in such a traditional historic room. but would be great in the patio area for european style.
ah! cant wait for my finals meeting!!! any of you going to the tasting next week?

I went to to the tasting last summer which is so weird because it feels like the other day. It was great though. Youll have yummy food and get to see the mansion again :)

Yay, congrats on your upcoming wedding! We are considering going to the tasting next week? Do you know whether the tasting includes all of the items on the general menu or just select items?

Re: 2012 De Seversky Brides
actually, this will be my second tasting
the first one we went to was amazing - they give you 4 or 5 different full entrees along with lots of appetizers and deserts. it was great!! this time we're bringing our parents to help us finalize our menu. its definitely worth it!

How many people are allowed to attend the first tasting free of charge? Is there charge for your parents to attend?

we didnt - though maybe i should have in retrospect (we have a 3 hour gap in bet. ceremony & cocktail hr).
might want to check with your hotels (mine were willing to upgrade the guest fees to include one) - or the limo company you booked with. we booked with camelot (love them!!!)

Thanks for your reply! Which hotel are you booked with? We have a block at Roslyn Claremont.
Could you FM me Camelot price that you were quoted. I'm not sure if they are out of my budget. Thanks.:)
