Congrats! Thatched Cottage is so nice - Maureen was great when we sat with her- it was my 2nd choice i just needed a bigger reception room!

Maureen is great! She made me feel at home and was very sassy.

Congrats on booking! Such an overwhelming experience, right?

We are SERIOUSLY considering Thatched Cottage for our wedding as well. We loved the place and loved Maureen. The only thing that's holding us back is the size of the ballroom. We have an invite list of apx. 250, so a wedding size of, I don't know, 220-230? Do you mind me asking how many people you're having?

Has anyone ever been there for a larger wedding? They say they can fit up to 275 comfortably, 290 is tight, but I just wanted a little first-hand confirmation of this.

Thank you! I love the place (obviously) and Maureen. Planning a wedding is very overwhelming, indeed! We are only planning for 100 and we are having a continuous cocktail hour in the Tuscan room, so unfortunately, I can't really help you with the ballroom. Sorry!
