I did the Dr. Oz two week rapid weight loss diet. It's almost the end of the two weeks, and I'm not going to weigh myself until Saturday. I want to be surprised. But, today I'm in a pair of pants that haven't fit me in almost a year!!
That's awesome. That is always an awesome feeling when you fit back into clothes you haven't fit into in so long. I have a goal pair of pants I have been hanging on to determined to get my butt back into lol. Let us know what your results are Saturday!

down 2 lbs since Jan 2. I am very happy about this. If I can lose 2 lbs a month I will be under my goal come the wedding. I have had two rough weeks and am really looking forward to getting back to the gym tomorrow. I start a pliates/bootcamp next mon/thurs for the month of feb so that should add to my gym sched even more. it really is crunch time! boudoir pics are 4/3! ahhh!
That's awesome Kristin, especially with all that you have going on atm. I think you'll look fabulous for your boudoir shoot!

I haven't been on here in way to long, and since my wedding is officially less than 8 months away I realized I had to get back in the swing of things. So I'm back!
Is anyone using MFP - and wants to be friends? Trappedinadream - add me!
luckyerialc! :)

What is the Dr. Oz two week rapid weight loss?
This is the link to Dr. Oz's page with all of the info:
http://www.doctoroz.com/episode/dr-ozs-two-week-rapid-weight-loss-diet
You can download the printable sheets from there. I will say this, the first few days are hard. Days 3 and 4 were REALLY hard. You HAVE to be determined. Once you get past those days, it's a breeze. I'm discovering that I like vegetables I never knew I did. It's definitely the easiest diet I've ever been on. And to be honest, I'm not stopping after two weeks. I'll add in some whole grain carbs and some dairy here and there, but for the most part, this is how I eat now. I haven't had dairy, carbs, sugar, caffiene, alcohol, NOTHING in almost two weeks. I always said I would die without bread. But look at me, I'm alive!

Only lost .4 this week. was disappointed because I had my wisdom teeth out and thought i'd lose more.
tonigth is my cheat night and then i need to get back on the horse ... haven't been too disciplined lately, which is why my loss has been so slow.

It's still a loss which is great!! Try and be happy about that (even though I know it's hard) and you can get right back on track! I def know the feeling I got the flu this week and couldn't eat....thought I would just be loosing tons of weight but ever since I got better my appetite has been huge!!! I have def gotten off track the last few days and need to get myself together.

I did my 'official' January weigh-in this morning- Down 2.6 lbs. Overall very happy with the results this month. If I can keep up this monthly weight loss until the wedding I will be SO happy! I fell off the gym wagon the last two weeks but thank God I didn't fall off the wagon when it came to eating too. I had quite a routine going & then FH's grandfather was put in hospice & ultimately passed away on Martin Luther King Day. It takes a lot for me to get into a gym routine and of course once I broke it- 5 days off turned into 12 days. So Back to the gym I go tonight determined to get my routine going again. How was your month ladies?
ETA: I am so glad this sunday is my last 'football sunday' my family & I get together every sunday and watch football allllll day & eat bad! Last one coming up until next year! thank god. Once i'm married I can get fat right?!

I'm up like 3 lbs since a week and a half ago... I have been gaining like .3-.5 lbs everytime I check, but I'm doing spin 4x a week and lifting. I know that alot of people say spin burns alot but it also tones your arms and legs a ton..My clothes are still getting smaller and my stomach is flat and getting firm, so I'm just thinking I'm gaining muscle at this point. I'm wondering if I should stop looking at the scale and just start measuring inches around my waist!

I feel the same way. I've been eating clean the last two weeks, but I've given myself permission to cheat a little on Sunday. And starting Monday, I'm getting into a work out routine too. I was going to wait until tomorrow to weigh in, but I couldn't help myself this morning! lol! I'm down 17lbs total!!! I don't want to cheat too too bad because I want to be able to say I lost 20lbs!!
And good job staying on track with so many distractions (sorry to hear about FH's grandpa)! It's so hard sometimes!

That is awesome! Go Kristin! http://shechive.files.wordpress.com/2014/01/da-mo-426.jpg?w=500&h=300
This was my favorite berry motivation today sooo true I printed it out and stuck it where I can see it everyday. haha I love it! I told fh i was like if I get to my ultimate goal after the wedding all the fall treats i love that i deprived myself of I'm allowed to eat after the wedding but if I gain 15lbs back then you need to stop me lol. So I have a wiggle room of fat pact with me and fh.

I think it's definitely muscle if your lifting and doing spin your body is probably gaining new muscle which would weigh more. I measure myself and feel that is a more accurate way to know if you losing or not.

Like the others said it is still a loss. Any loss is better than none or a gain. Wisdom tooth extractions are never fun seems like you had a rough week, you'll get back on it. Also slow progress is usually the kind of weight loss that is more permanent.

I agree. Taking measurements is a great idea. Personally I would use a combination of measurements, scale, and BMI to measure your success. I'm a firm believer that the scale gives just a number - something that we all put more value into than we should!
