My friend's parents are throwing her a 21st birthday party this weekend at a private room in a pub. I really have no idea what to give as a gift from DH and me. Do you think $40 is appropriate? That's what I'm thinking, but I really don't know.

What about a bottle of something and a personalized wine glass?? They sell them in Mandees and bed bath and beyond if you don't have time to order... They have other ones that say Birthday Girl, etc This glass is 9.99 in bed bath and beyond..

Its something more personalized than cash.
I would even get a 21st birthday photo frame...something more keepsake-like.
But when in doubt, cash is great! Always the perfect size and shape....LOL
