21st Century award center..Did anyone else get a call?

I got a call the other day in reference to winning all these prizes from an awards center in Huntington, and I am curious if it is a scam, did anyone else get this call? I called the bridal store and threy said it is legittamate, but if I go to claim my prize they wanted to know how it went. I was told they only take about 20% of people that are registered with Davids from across the country.

Stay away from them. They have been calling me at least once a week for the past 8 months. They tell you that you have won all this stuff, but you have to go see them in Huntington and buy pots and pans and stuff like that.

Next time they call, just say you are not interested. If they call again, I swear I don't know what I will do!

I got a call, too - they said they got my name from a Bridal Showcase I had just attended and that I had won. A friend of mine who had attended the same showcase also got the same call. It didn't sound right to either of us - we had both turned them down.

i got a call too saying i was this winner- im pretty sure it is a situation where they try to sell you pots in order to get the free stuff they say you won. i might go, i can say no to sales people if thats what it takes. kinda like a time share senario

I received a call on my machine from them yesterday. Coincidently I won too. Sounds like a scam to me.

i got the call and i wnet. you have to sit through a 2 hour thing where they try to sell you overprced pots and pans. you arent under an obligation to buy, and at the end you get a voucher for 4 days 3 nights accomodations in either florida, hawaii, cancun or vegas. we havent gone yet so i cant tell you how the hotel is but you are responsible for airfare

Go to the NYS Do Not Call Registry ...then these telemarketers cannot call you.

I 'won' one of these prizes too. I didn't go for the presentation though. I figured it was a scam. Like the saying goes...'If it sounds to good to be true, it probably is!'

I screamed at them because a part of there plan is that you must have your fiance with you and well mine is in the Air Force and not around this weekend, or any weekend right after they call.. And they are so rude when I explain to him that he is in the AF but I would still go if possible and then they tell me no. I think that is so rude.
So, then on top of that I was pissed today when they called because technically my wedding should have passed... So, why are they still calling!!! I'm already supposed to be off there list b/c my fiance isn't around.. argh
There just annoying..

I got the call tonight ladies!!! I actually thought for a second that it was legit... but I'm so glad I read that EVERYONE else got the call... so much for the 5% of people that 'won' these prizes... they said that I won the 4 day/3 night hotel accom.. a camera and 100 rolls of film and then 40% off housewares from their company... they said I had to come this weekend sometime to Huntington... was actually considering doing it.. but I guess I will stay away now...
