Hello, I just saw a Leonard's of Greatneck Thread but it has a lot of older posts on it (not that I mind, I love to read any post on Leonard's ) I know someone else had a more recent post with up to date posted wedding dates but I can't seem to find it, so.... I decided to start a new one. I will start it off

wow congratz....

my fish section contains, lobsters, shrimp, crab, oysters, muscles,baked clams, scallops, its the bigest fish selection minus the caviar b/c we didn't think anyone would eat it and some other things from other sections like the bacon wrapped scallops and the baked clams.

for the carving station i want to do the mini lamb chops and i think either the ham or turkey or the pig b/c we get two choices from the carving

i wanted to also add the absolute sloosh i think that would be cool to have.

I didn't know that was the fish section you were talking about. Yeah thats really huge. I want to add it to mine but I don't know if its too much food for me. I'm only having 75-80 guests. If you remember, would you mind sending me fm about how much that addition costs. or if anybody knows how much that addition costs please send me fm. and do you know how much the vodka sloosh costs? i didn't even see that in the list of possible upgrades. FH really wants one of those. I feel like everytime I go there I add more stuff. We have so few guests I'm afraid that its just going to be a waste!

i did not take any extras....i will have simple cake that is provided by the hall ..no upgrades for me....i am broke....

Oh that's SO funny I was at leonards on sat too and the whole place was pack, yes everyone was very nice / TO WHO EVER HAS THE MAIN FLOOR , THEY CLOSE OFF THE CH HOUR AND RESEPTION ROOM WITH DRAPES SO THAT THE UR GUEST COULD ONLY GET TO THE CHAPEL IF YOU ARE GETTING MARRIED THEIR. THAT WAS COOL

Is anyone doing their own menu's for Leonards?

When I went last week & asked Ian, he showed
me their menu card....I asked him if I should do my own n he rolled his eyes at me n told me that Im waisting money...needless to say i think hes a j/o anyway LOL

They are regular white cards with the menu printed on. It looks like the way the menu is listed on the sheet they give you but on a bigger card like paper.

Im using these.

I want to do my own, especially after seeing Qiana's menus!!! They will need to deal with it. They shouldn't care what you choose to do.

Jeanine I sent you fm about your dress, did you get it? As for the menus, when I asked them about it they said I could make my own but I think I'm just going to use whatever they provide unless they are very ugly.

I wouldn't mind using their menu cards but I want to change the chicken dish and they said I can do that.

we added the whole fish section and carving stations, i wanted to add the macaronni station but mauricio said it would be to much..

He said that to us too, because we are having the pasta served at dinner.

Their menu cards are fine. I was going to make mine but it really is a waste theirs are on beige cardstock and looked nice on the table. If anyone has any questions let me know. I was married there and still dream about how absolutely amazing it was. If you can afford it definitely get the venetian hour I have said it before and will say it again it is the best out there. I was at a wedidng at Russos last weekend and was so looking forward to the venetian hour and all the different things they have and was so disappointed it sucked. We got 2 candy apples and when we went home to cut them they were rotten and the cookies were like store bought ones. The cookie station at leonards is so yummy!!!!

wow thats surprising ......i love the venetian hour at Russo's ......but im getting ours too!!!!
