thanks girls........well leonard's was great..bridal attendant was great too....but md....no good.....he did not do anything...a$$........ and when i asked him after the wedding to get all the wases for me in the limo he did not......i am telling you .....complete %$#@!&**.....ohh well...but everything was great...and i did not see more brides....it felt like i was the only one....

Do you know if every person got their own menu or was it 1 per table or 1 for every 2 people? Oh and it really ***** that the MD didn't help you out. Did you still have to give them a tip?

i am not sure....but we had one on our dais......and the cake ...whipped cream strawberry...and the chocolate fountain was soooo smallllll..........................but every one loved it

Can someone please tell me how many people do they sit per table? I can't remember if it was 8 or 10??
Also...I did a search on the review board for leonards and there were some pics of the cakes on a few of them. I can post them tomorrow, if you want.

To answer a few of your questions:
I meet with Ian (The 'closer' ) last week.
As for cakes: There are 2 free ones to choose. They are very basic white layered cakes. You have a bunch of fillings you can choose from. We decided to go with chocolate mouse. We really didn't care about the cake because we are having the full Venetian hour so we dont think people will really care too much about the cake.
There are other cakes you can choose from.. actually a whole book full. I think those are lke $2-3 extra pp. I dont think its worth spending the extra money if you are going to have the Venetian Hour. The free cakes they offer are decent.. believe me. Just have your florist decorate it with the colors from your centerpieces and it will be beautiful.
As fot eh number they sit per table.. I am having my reception in the Starlight Venetian room. I dont know if it is the same with all the rooms, but as far as I know, each table holds 8-12 people. Almost 2 months away for me. I cant wait. Wooo HooOO!!!!!!!!!!! Yippeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Well it went okay. I have to say that I thought he was going to be a real jerk from what I have heard from other people's experiences but In my experience and opinion I thought he was very nice and extremely helpful.
What you do is go through everything from start to finish. The entire menu, and how your party will be run. We only have one issue to deal with and I am confident that this will be taken care of on Monday.
As far as the cakes go I must say I did not like either of them. Very boring, plain, and out dated. They were just plain buttercream cakes with your choice of fillings and a three tier cake. I chose to have the chocolate mousse filling. I just asked to use the cake and to keep it 3 tiers without the swans and without putting the stand between the last tier. (I hope that makes sense to you). I didnt want to upgrade my cake because of my v-hour.
I just hope my one issue is cleared by Monday otherwise I will not be a happy person.
