Niha, good for you for keeping that view on it I know we all say 'habits' about different things or our moms will say 'Youre spoiling them' but theres no greater comfort to a baby then his/her mommy's touch, hug, embrace, warm body next to theirs.
As far as the sleeping thing, like I mentioned, it would scare me as far as how deep of a sleep id be in. having him right by my bed in the bassinet was close enough for me, I was scared for his safety to have him in bed with us. But I totally did and still do hold him ALOT and smooch him way too much
We can all judge our own children and how much attention we feel we should give them and when its time to give them their own playtime, but enjoy every minute of holding her and sleeping with her.

Re: 3 in the Bed
Niha-That is EXACTLY how I felt when Patrick was younger. He slept on my chest till he was about 2-3 months. I was up till 4:00-5:00am because he just wouldn't go to sleep when I put him down.
As I've said to MANY of my friends no one & I mean NO ONE knows your child like you. You do what you feel is right.
