Holy Cow, I cant believe that my day is finally here...I live upstate and am getting married on LI where my family is from and I grew up there...We are going home tomorrow and then the games begin...I am actually pretty relaxed now but I am sure the stress will mound sooner or later...
Any suggesstions on how to survive the rehersal dinner...with two VERY differently families and friends attending...also my final payment is due and I am 10 people below my minimum, I was hoping the hall would just let those ten people slide and cut me a break...what do you think? Any such luck?
Good luck to all the brides sharing my day with me...hopefully the weather will be beautiful!

I'm surprised how quickly the days are passing too!!! Hope your trip is relaxing and uneventful.
My advice for the rehearsal is to just enjoy yourself. It is impossible to please everyone so it is your time to thank those that have helped you and enjoy the dinner before the big day.
Hopefully everyone will realize that it is not a big deal to put differences aside for a day or two and enjoy themselves as well.
HTH! Hope you have an amazing time on Saturday!

Enjoy your day!

I live in Wappingers Falls...near poughkeepsie, we just moved here from LI in October so I am not very familiar with the surrounding areas yet!

That's about 1.5 hours south of me - it's funny how regional the term 'Upstate' is. My brother-in-law grew up in Newburg and he considered that Upstate. Up here people generally consider anything south of Greene or Columbia County Downstate, people up north consider anything south of Warrensburg downstate (Warrensburg is north of Lake George or about 4.5 hours north of NYC) it's all relative to where you are
