46 days to the wedding and im in a cast and crutches

I swear there has been a black cloud over me

today i was running to catch a train and this kid cut me off and i mid-run i tried not to bump into the kid and my whole foot went under me and i couldnt even walk, i sat on right where i was for 15-20 mins before i could even motivate and basically limped. BUt it started swelling up badly and my foot became so numb and i was in so much pain even just sitting and doing nothing. Fh took me to the doc and i sprained it so bad that i tore a muscle throughout my whole foot. I cant even move my foot, i can barely wiggle my toes, and cant walk without the crutches. I just used them now and its so hard to adjust to.

But this F*IN *****, the doc said it will take 6-8 weeks to fully heal but should be ok by the wedding. What F*IN luck is this and i have so much to do and i was ordered to stay in bed

ok now i have to run, it took me forever to go to the bathroom and i had to check email quick, so maybe ill be back on later tonight since i have nothing else to do

Oh man... feel better. Think positively! Rest is the best thing to a quick recovery here... Good luck.

i guess its better than it being broken which i thought it was and fh broke both his ankles and he said it sounds like its broken since i cant move it or put my foot down at all. So in a way i should be thankful but this can also be worse with healing than a clean break of an ankle.

Oh yeah and i have my first fitting tomorrow

I'm SO sorry, that is terrible. Remember when i sprained my ankle - it was back in January and I was crossing QB? I never went for an MRI and I should have because it still hurts so just be VERY careful... the first few days were the worst with the pain. But yours is definitely worse than mine - I didn't need a cast.

UGH. Well, if you need help with anything that's what we are here for. I work in the city and live in Forest Hills if you need something picked up or anything!

so not trying to make you feel worse - but when i went the doc said a lot of times a sprain is worse than a break.... not sure if he meant in terms of pain or healing, but other people have told me that too. You're going to get really tired being on crutches but after a while you'll get used to them.

OMG I hope you get better soon!
Did anyone try to help you, or did they just walk past you sitting on the ground in pain?
