I swear there has been a black cloud over me

today i was running to catch a train and this kid cut me off and i mid-run i tried not to bump into the kid and my whole foot went under me and i couldnt even walk, i sat on right where i was for 15-20 mins before i could even motivate and basically limped. BUt it started swelling up badly and my foot became so numb and i was in so much pain even just sitting and doing nothing. Fh took me to the doc and i sprained it so bad that i tore a muscle throughout my whole foot. I cant even move my foot, i can barely wiggle my toes, and cant walk without the crutches. I just used them now and its so hard to adjust to.

But this F*IN *****, the doc said it will take 6-8 weeks to fully heal but should be ok by the wedding. What F*IN luck is this and i have so much to do and i was ordered to stay in bed

ok now i have to run, it took me forever to go to the bathroom and i had to check email quick, so maybe ill be back on later tonight since i have nothing else to do

I hope you get better soon!!! Keep your foot elivated and rest!!!!!!!! Send your bridesmaids to work!!!! Let them help you out. I feel so bad for you! Feel better!!!

awwwwwww thank you to each and every one of you. I read every single post and definitely will take everybodies advice. Sorry to all you ladies who had to deal with this in the past, it really S*CKS!!!!!!!!

thank you so much to everyone offering help, i dont even know what to say, so incredibly sweet and means so much to me

well one good thing is with being stuck in the house i get to come on LIW more since i'll have nothing else to do, you know since i dont get to come on all that much

Feel better...acupuncture is amazing! I avoided hand surgery with just a few acupuncture treatments and I have never felt better. Good luck.

Denise that S*CKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am sorry to hear this. Definatley rest it so you can be healed for the wedding.

I know how you feel about the black cloud. I often feel that way and have that kind of luck. Do you need to have your shoes tomorrow...can that wait for your next fitting?

o gosh!!! stay off your leg (i know it;s hard) but the more you rest it, the quicker it will heal.. such a bummer.. but just relax.. and you'll be back to normal in a few..

i saw your other post about it being your first, well welcome and congrats

Well usually with alot of bad luck comes alot of good luck, so for all of us having bad luck lets just think we have alot of amazing things to look forward to. Well the weddings hahaha so that can be it

I am sure the shoes can wait for another fitting. I am going to call tomorrow and see what they say. It would be ok bc my dad can drive me and going a few feet with crutches in the store is fine, i just dont know what im going to do since i can only stand on one foot and not for long before i start stumbling hahahaha, so not sure how itd work. Ill see what they say

thank you ladies the doctor seemed to be optimistic about being ok for the wedding. He said that for it to FULLY heal will take 6-8 weeks but ill be fine by then but just have to be a little careful

im going to wait until closer to the wedding to see what i should do and see what the doctor says when ill go back for a check up. I should find flats or i was even thinking sneakers before this happened to change into just in case.

OMG Denise!!! I hope you have a speedy recovery. Just rest up and dont over do it. Do exactly what the dr. tells you. Try to stay off the foot.
Good practice for your FH on taking care of you

you heal sooner!!!!
