46 days to the wedding and im in a cast and crutches

I swear there has been a black cloud over me

today i was running to catch a train and this kid cut me off and i mid-run i tried not to bump into the kid and my whole foot went under me and i couldnt even walk, i sat on right where i was for 15-20 mins before i could even motivate and basically limped. BUt it started swelling up badly and my foot became so numb and i was in so much pain even just sitting and doing nothing. Fh took me to the doc and i sprained it so bad that i tore a muscle throughout my whole foot. I cant even move my foot, i can barely wiggle my toes, and cant walk without the crutches. I just used them now and its so hard to adjust to.

But this F*IN *****, the doc said it will take 6-8 weeks to fully heal but should be ok by the wedding. What F*IN luck is this and i have so much to do and i was ordered to stay in bed

ok now i have to run, it took me forever to go to the bathroom and i had to check email quick, so maybe ill be back on later tonight since i have nothing else to do

Oh no. I just was logging on & saw that you were hurt. Thank goodness it isn't broken, though I bet it hurts teh same anyway. I am sending you wishes for a speedy recovery. I guess the cosmos are wanted you to take care of yourself now. aww.
I've sprained my ankle many a time & the only way to get better is to rest up. I hope you feel better asap. Sorry their are such crappy people that didn'tt help.

Aww, thanks! Yes, I'm sure things are going to turn around for you. You have a good attitude about it and that helps a lot.

Ha, I know, I was thinking of that too...you'd only be able to put on one shoe tomorrow. Be careful tomorrow and good luck!

oh i wasnt in a good mood earlier lol. I am not a big cryer, and the though of it possibly being broken i started crying and when fh picked me up i kept screaming about my luck lol.

its a good thing bc i didnt even buy my wedding shoes yet so gives me a great excuse for not having them yet

well the invites are done. Just got the boxes today and my mom actually assembled them so this week they'll go out. Here is a pic i posted last week after JUST finishing main invite

Hey - its a funny wedding memory that you and FH will look back on and laugh about years from now.

As long as the doc says to rest and ull be good for the wedding - thats what counts!

i remember seeing a wedding pic of a bride spraining her ankle on her way to the ceremony and after the ceremony had to go get a cast put on and her FH carried her. Ever since i saw that pic, i was so afraid of something like that happening to me and i must've jinxed myself bc i was thinking to myself just last week, ok i had the flu and got that over with and now just have to make sure nothing bad happens physically and here i am now lol. And i was always afraid since i saw that brides picture and it stuck in my head.

omg i'm so sorry!!! but you will be better in time for the wedding so at least it happened now instead of like a week before.
