I swear there has been a black cloud over me
today i was running to catch a train and this kid cut me off and i mid-run i tried not to bump into the kid and my whole foot went under me and i couldnt even walk, i sat on right where i was for 15-20 mins before i could even motivate and basically limped. BUt it started swelling up badly and my foot became so numb and i was in so much pain even just sitting and doing nothing. Fh took me to the doc and i sprained it so bad that i tore a muscle throughout my whole foot. I cant even move my foot, i can barely wiggle my toes, and cant walk without the crutches. I just used them now and its so hard to adjust to.
But this F*IN *****, the doc said it will take 6-8 weeks to fully heal but should be ok by the wedding. What F*IN luck is this and i have so much to do and i was ordered to stay in bed
ok now i have to run, it took me forever to go to the bathroom and i had to check email quick, so maybe ill be back on later tonight since i have nothing else to do

Ugh, the bachelorette party I really am sending you some serious hardcord healing vibes. If you take extra good care of yourself now maybe you will heal faster!!!

omg i'm so sorry!!! but you will be better in time for the wedding so at least it happened now instead of like a week before.

well one good thing is with being stuck in the house i get to come on LIW more since i'll have nothing else to do, you know since i dont get to come on all that much

I saw that you said you didn't get your shoes yet .... sometimes things happen for a reason (I mean that you don't have your shoes yet, not that you got hurt!!!).

I am so sorry to hear this, I hope you aren't in too much pain. Look on the bright side though, there could be A LOT worse things that could happen around the time of your wedding...take it from someone who knows. A cast and crutches isn't so bad. You won't be able to see the cast anyway, and hopefully you will be OK by the time of the wedding. As long as you take care of yourself and follow DR orders i'd anticipate that you'll be ok by then. ILL TRY to make you feel a lil better: once i broke both of my arms at the SAME time!!! i had a cast and a sling on...i feel off of my bike

OMG Denise, I'm so sorry! You're a trooper..I think you will be better before the 6-8 weeks. Stay positive and take your time doing things. Just think, NOW people will want to help you more...maybe this can work in your benefit lol Just trying to lighten the mood.....I hope you feel better!

feel better denise! dont worry think positive! i broke my ankle - shattered it to pieces had to have surgery - part of my bone is missing, i had pins and everything - it was total disaster - i couldnt go to school for like 2 months, i had to have a tutor come to the house and i was on crutches forever and then i had physical therapy - i still have problems because the cast and surgery only healed my bones but a lot of times muscles/ligaments/tendons dont heal right after something like that - especially when they are set stiff in a cast for 2 months so even now years after i still have swelling and pain -but nothing that stops me from doing things....its true that a sprain can be worse but they are only worse than a clean break....
im sure if you follow the doctors orders and stay off it you'll be fine in time for the wedding - its true to think positive and get lots of rest and relaxation lots of hugs and wishes for a speedy recovery!
ohh and you will get used to the crutches - i remember my ribs being a little sore from them in the beginning but once you are used to them you will be whizzing around!
