~~~5/4 QOTD~~~

First off sorry for posting yesterday haha. Totally forgot the new week starts Monday for BOTW. I was driving home from AC brainstorming for a question haha, woops sorry again Lorin!!

Okay here is today's question which is a spinoff somewhat of yesterdays. Some of you may have answered this already yesterday but some hadn't since it really wasn't the question and I'm curious lol.

How long after you first met your FI, did you then start dating and who initiated it?

FH and I officially met March 2006. We talked for months then closer to the end of May I just threw it all out there lol. We were chatting on AIM and I'm like sooo what are we doing here haha. However the catch was I was about to leave to study abroad in Italy for a month. FH was my first real boyfriend and I told him I really don't want to finally be in a relationship and then be in 2 separate countries to start it off. So like the Saint that he is haha he said I will wait for however long you need, when you get back I will be here waiting. Still once I got back a month later I avoided the situation bc I was sooo afraid of getting hurt. But bc he truly is 'the one' he pushed through and was so persistent that we met up one night and talked it out and had our first kiss. About a week or two later (July 25th to be exact) we stated the relationship as an official gf/bf one and here we are today!

Eta: FH thought he was slick on July 25 and was like sooo my mom asked me today if you were my girlfriend haha, that's how it was said. I'm like I already would consider you my bf and he said the same towards me. Just wanted to add that bc he said he was telling the truth but I thought he used it as a way to ask me lol.

We met in February 2005 and we were just 'friends'. However, we were hanging out literally everyday but we did not officially date until March 31st. I think by that time, we both knew we just wanted to be together and we both initiated it.

Ok, we met I think in 2004 and we were just acqaintainces until about 2008 when we became a little closer but still never spoke on the phone or hung out. Him and I were both dating other people. Then both or our relationships ended and it was somewhat similiar circumstances which they ended under so we had that in common; we became close friends and a few months later, we starting dating casually, going out for coffee, etc. and within a couple of weeks in mid to end of April 2005 we began dating! I would say it was mutual.

FH met while working together. We waited ten months before dating. It was a sort of mutual decision.. I think that he thinks that he did the iniating, but I think I helped move the process along lol.

We met for the first time in '99 - dated for the first time in April of 2002 - it didn't work out then but then we finally got it right in January of 05

aww! i love these questions!!

We started talking in the beginning of January 2005...we kept trying to meet, but btwn my sch and the few snow storms we had (and me just blwoing it off), it was hard to meet up....So the end of January we finally met...went out on a bunch of dates and had such a great valentine's day together! so on february 19th, we are at his house, and (so cute and so dorky!!!) he asked me to be his girlfriend!!!!

We actually knew each other when we were kids....we were on the local swimteam together ast the local YMCA. We then lost touch for about 10 years, and our Dad's recognized each other while we were out at the local japanese place for Happy Hour (yeah - believe it or not - the local japanese place has a fun thursday Happy Hour - Dad and I used to go all the time!). Anywho, I was dating my ex at the time (bad relationship) and FH and I casually talked and then didn't talk after that other than 1 or 2 times on the phone. About 3 months later we randomly met up again at the same Happy Hour and I was in the midst of going through a breakup with my ex. Well, FH and I started talking and we hung out for the next few days together, then decided to start dating. Our Dads both take credit for getting us together - it's actually kinda cute.

FH and I met on 10/14/06, but we talked online and on the phone for about two weeks prior. We met on Match. We decided to hang out on 10/14, but went on our first offical date on 10/18. We have been inseperable ever since.

We met early September 2004, and we started dating about 6 weeks later....we were both so nervous to ask each other out!

my FH knew of each other through mutual friends.. we hung out a few times in high school, but didn't see each other again until after I graduated college.

It wasn't til Nov 2006 that we saw each other again and hit it off immediately ( i do i have to give some props to alcohol though.. i think the both of us would have been too shy otherwise!)

We officially became bf and gf in February and the rest is history!!

Ok so 6 years ago i was getting my hair done at my normal salon which i had been going to for 3 or 4 years - in the same strip was a deli i just never went in. So this particular day i was STARVING so i went in for a chicken sandwhich and behind the counter was this GORGEOUS guy - who i later found out was the owner.... so i asked him for a chicken sandwhich but told him how i wanted it cooked and what i wanted on it - he was COCKY & full of himself which honestly so was i back then.... so i ordered my stuff and went back to the salon and was like OMG who is that he is gorgeous but hes an A S S . so i go back get my stuff get my hair done andleave... i went back 2 weeks later with my mother and my hair girl was like as soon as you left he came in here like who was that hot girl..... i was like WHAT???? so i went in and asked him out on a date and weve been together 6 years in october!

We met in 2/21/03 however he didnt like me. We met again on 3/1/03 and hung out and spoke all night (he kissed me too ) We then hung out every night for the next 14 days until he asked me to be his girlfriend.... We have been inseperable since.

we met briefly in the fall of 2002, but it wasn't until the spring of 03 that we met again and started hanging out. After only a couple weeks of hanging out we made it 'official'

I met my FH in High School I would say in 1996, I was good friends with one of his friends - I was 'hi/bye friends' with my FH - It turns out that I went to my FH's senior prom with that mutual friend, and I ended up dancing with my FH when my friend was dancing with the girl that he wanted to be dating. . . . . After college I kept running into my FH (I mean everywhere, 7-11, a bar in Farmingdale, bars in Huntington, the dry cleaners, target) we were always dating other people - and one time When we ran into each other in February 2004, we decided that we should go on a date we have been together ever since!

I would say that I knew, pretty much right away that I wanted to marry him, there was just something there - that never was before <3

FH and I actually met in 2003 through mutual friends. We all worked together so we would hang out and do HH's as just friends since we were both in relationships. In July 2006, we were both single and one of our mutual friends told me that FH was going to ask me out for a drink. FH found out I knew and avoided me like the plague. I finally had to call him out on it. We dated on and off and finally in January 2007, we made it official.
