First off sorry for posting yesterday haha. Totally forgot the new week starts Monday for BOTW. I was driving home from AC brainstorming for a question haha, woops sorry again Lorin!!
Okay here is today's question which is a spinoff somewhat of yesterdays. Some of you may have answered this already yesterday but some hadn't since it really wasn't the question and I'm curious lol.
How long after you first met your FI, did you then start dating and who initiated it?
FH and I officially met March 2006. We talked for months then closer to the end of May I just threw it all out there lol. We were chatting on AIM and I'm like sooo what are we doing here haha. However the catch was I was about to leave to study abroad in Italy for a month. FH was my first real boyfriend and I told him I really don't want to finally be in a relationship and then be in 2 separate countries to start it off. So like the Saint that he is haha he said I will wait for however long you need, when you get back I will be here waiting. Still once I got back a month later I avoided the situation bc I was sooo afraid of getting hurt. But bc he truly is 'the one' he pushed through and was so persistent that we met up one night and talked it out and had our first kiss. About a week or two later (July 25th to be exact) we stated the relationship as an official gf/bf one and here we are today!
Eta: FH thought he was slick on July 25 and was like sooo my mom asked me today if you were my girlfriend haha, that's how it was said. I'm like I already would consider you my bf and he said the same towards me. Just wanted to add that bc he said he was telling the truth but I thought he used it as a way to ask me lol.

FH and I are highschool sweethearts so we knew eachother for about 3 years b4 we started dating.
I think we both initiated it. I really don't remember though - High school was kind of a blur.

We met and just kind of started a friendship, talking and such for about 2 weeks, then went on a few dates, started seeing each other every weekend which turned into like everyday lol. And we kinda turned into into a relationship you could say about 2 months after we had first met.

We met in a class in college, on the first day of class in the spring semester of '02. He liked the shirt I was wearing (an obscure band from the early '90's) and I liked the band patches on his bag...but I was dating some other guy at the time. He ended up dating another girl in the class, but he and I would talk and he lent me a Cure CD, which I never returned at the end of the semester! We exchanged AIM names and such and would talk here and there, but I knew I kinda liked him and would always find an excuse NOT to hang out with him because I knew I had feelings and felt like that would be unfaithful to the guy I was with at the time.
Well, I dumped that guy in the summer of '04 and next thing you know, I found it to be VERY important to return that Cure CD to my FH. He told me that he already bought a new copy so I flirted and said that since he had to go through the trouble of doing that, then I should buy him a drink to make up for it. (He was still dating the girl from our class). Next thing you know, he breaks up with her and we're an item.
Good things are worth the wait!!!

We met in late January/early February of 2006 and we were just friends for awhile. But we were really close friends.
Then in August of 2006, we were at Seaside Heights with a bunch of friends. He & I wandered off to the boardwalk alone and we were sitting on a bench. And he said 'I'm going to take a chance here... I'd really like to kiss you right now.' And I said 'I'd really like to kiss you too.'
And so we did =D
And then we proceeded to make out like crazy people in the middle of the Seaside Heights boardwalk. Wooohoo!

We met in Jan of 2006. From that date on we weren't seeing anyone else but weren't technically bf/gf. He considered me his gf but cuz of a bad previous relationship i was freaking out and going back and forth on my decision to make him my bf. 4 months later i gave in lol.
I still consider our anniversary in Jan though.

This is a tricky question.... FH hit on my 3 different times,... 3 different summers.... he forgot I remembered. Sounds terrible I know but honestly we were always in bars in the Hamptons so we were drunk and whatever I kinda found it funny...
So after the 3rd time of us meeting and begining dating... honestly it was very quick that we became exclusive he told me he wanted to within the first month and I was so happy because I totally wanted to also but thought I would be coming on to strong or be like a 'psycho'... so yeah about a 3 years, and a month... lol

FH and I met at the end of January. He had just gotten out of a serious relationship and didn't want a gf. From the day we met, we were 'dating,' but it wasn't official until June. We celebrate in January because the only thing that changed was the title!

Well as I mentioned yesterday, our first date was a blind date. So that's when we met. After the first date, we started seeing each other about once a week. We did that for around a month or so, and then became exclusive. Our first date was December 17, 1999 and our anniversary is January 22, 2000.

We knew eachother for a few years, but didn't socialize. We ran into eachother one night at a club, exchanged numbers and started dating. 5 years later we were engaged. here we are now!

Met on Singles.net. We started to talk in the middle of Sept 2007. We met at the end of Sept so that was our first date. Had another date the first week of Oct and he offically asked me out on 10/13/07.

we met march 24 2007 and we hung out all night untill 4 am. just talking and having a good time. he then called me at 7pm and said he had a great time and would like to know if i wanna be his girl. and of course i said yes.

We were best friends for about 2 1/2 years before we started dating. There was always something between us but we had other people in our lives. He initiated it when we were drunk one St. Patrick's Day and after months of wanting to be with each other, we finally got together almost 10 months later.

met at a college reunion in june 2006. went on our first date (which i did not realize was a date -- i thought were were just going to hang out, lol) at the end of july. and started officially dating the night we first kissed (when i realized it was more than just hangin out, lol) in beginning of august
we actually went to same college, but never talked to eachother then. we were in different majors and hung out with different people, so i barely saw him during college.
interesting how things turn out!!

my FH and i met in 2003 while i was working with his brother. we had always been pretty friendly but didn't have much contact outside of him visiting us at work. fast forward 5 years, i ran into him one night out with friends and began talking again. one time he asked me over to his home to have dinner with his family. it was sort of his way to announce that i was his gf since he's always been so family oriented.

We officially started dating about 5 months after we first met. We 'dated' here and there and spoke on the phone constantly, but we never made it official until April 2005 (we met in December 2004). It was kind of a mutual decision to make it official, but I believe FH initiated it.

This is kinda a weird, very long...yet interesting, so bring out the popcorn for a story!
We met in Fall 2000 (Freshmen, 1st semester of college), we were both seeing other people but got to know each other very well!. (that was yesterdays story)
Halloween evening of 2002, we both dressed as vampires and went to class all day (7am-8pm) like that. During the day as we walked up the stairs he smacked my @$$ and I said...'I'll get you back for that' as I smacked him across the face.... Later that night, I walked w/him to Grand Central and really kissed him before he left for the train and a few weeks later, we might as well have been dating (mind you we still had 'others').
By early 2004 we got into a fight b/c he'd yell at me all the time as we were walking through NYC b/c I would always bump into him accidentally or push him into people/street/etc... basically I can't walk in a straight line.... stupidest fight ever... but we again, still had our 'other' and we didn't talk again untill...
6/6/06 --can't forget that date-- As I was in Dunkin Donuts ordering my morning iced coffee before work, I got a phone call from him that he was in NYC for the day. He didn't expect me to answer the phone and was taking a 'long shot'. I soooo canceled with my girlfriends and met him for dinner. (again, i still had the same BF at the time) Russ and I hit it off so well, like we never stopped talking to each other. And the attraction from before was still there, if not stronger..
We talked on the phone for weeks as he knew I had a BF and i'd often do my version of 'double date' where I'd see Russ and go to a movie and then the day after see my BF for the same movie and have to act like I never saw it before... that's sooo hard, i don't recommend it!
I was then on again off again with my BF of many years as well with Russ b/c I felt like I needed to peruse my relationship with Russ, but couldn't bring myself to break up with my BF...
Finally, Jan '07 I broke up with my BF and asked Russ out officially in the matter of minutes...
My old BF and I are still close friends, and the whole me 'cheating on him' while I was with him wasn't an issue as there was a 'twist' to my original relationship as well... But that's another story!
