6 days late but testing negative..

6 days late but testing negative..

Has this happened to anyone else? I felt for sure I was, but 5 pregnancy tests all have been negative. We started trying this month, (even though we're not officially married) and I don't know if it's because I want it so much that my bdy is playing tricks on me, or whether I just might be. I should add that I'm never late. Any advice?

that's a tough one....at what time of day are you taking the tests?
are you under stress or on medication?
have your diet or excercise habits changed at all?

those are good questions and I agree with btrfly, that it may be something other than being pregnant that is causing you to be late. I would go to the doctor though, b.c you want to make sure its nothing serious. Maybe just give it a few more days.

In the months leading up to my wedding my periods were all over the place. Real early and then the next month, really late.

Hop over to the doctor for a blood test, its the only way to be 100% sure.

Did u recently go off of the pill? I was on the pill for a very short time and my cycle was way off. Or have u been sick? I had a kidney infection and ended up my period was 2 weeks late. the body is sensitive, and since your wedding is right around the corner , it can be becuase of that. I was very stressed out right b4 the wedding, that was 18 days ago, and now I have the worlds worst cold. I would give it a little more time before getting a blood test. Or try another brand of HPT.

I was 8 days late!!! Yes, 8 days and I got my AF. I was really pissed off!!I was usually on time like clock work. I was planning on calling the doctor the following day....but, I didn't have to.....thanks to AF NOw, I don't know when I am ovulating. But, on a happier note, my GF was a week late and her test said she was negative but she was indeed prego!!
