Re: 63 cent wedding stamps
I went to the post office to weigh my envelope and they told me it would need exactly. 63 cents. Rather than take the chance of being short I put two .39 cent stamps on each one.

Re: 63 cent wedding stamps
As the totally neurotic bride whose SIL went to the NYC post office to get stamps for my STD's I say wait. As the practical lawyer I am about everything else, if you wait, what happens if you can't get them March 1? (Which BTW I think is wrong, I think the release date is March 6.)
You and every other bride will be looking to get those stamps. How quickly do you think they will sell out, and which post offices will actually get shipped those instead of the other 63 cent stamp due out??
If you can be at the central NYC post office when they open at 9:30 AM on the release date to guarantee YOU get them, wait. Otherwise consider carefully.

I agree with this -- make sure the stamps are actually going to BE at a post office near you. Somone I know in the city went looking for those bluebird love stamps for her invites, and they weren't yet at a number of POs on the day they were supposed to come out. (She did finally find one, but it took someone she knew going to another PO and asking.)

Re: 63 cent wedding stamps
I did the same thing. I had to buy 2 stamps. the true blue love birds. I couldn't wait for the new stamps to come out. It wasn't so bad. I ended up spending an extra 10 cents per invite though....oh well......
