well with 8 days to the wedding we get a message at home from FH mom.. stating that she will not be coming to the wedding .. she had back surgery 2 weeks ago here in New york and this past thursday she was dicharged and went back home to North carolina.. the message said something about .. im sorry... the doctor said i need 6 to 9 months of recovery ... i love u both, i wish you the best .. i give you my blessings from here ... etc.. to my son ..i love you .. please forgive me .. etc.. please send me pics and video my souvenirs .. my flowers.. etc... (She is a real faker and drama queen sometimes) needless to say i started to ball only b/c i know that having his mom there ment alot even if they dont have that perfect relationship .. especially since . .he older brother, 2 nephews and one set of grandparents will not be there.. so now the only one from his family coming to the wedding is . .his dad.. and his sister who is one of my BM..
When FH got home i had him listen to the message and of coarse he is not one to ever show he cares.. well as he was hearing the message tears began to roll down his face.. and then i started to ball as well..
PLEASE SEND US YOUR PRAYERS THAT SOMETHING WILL WORK OUT AND THAT HIS MOM WILL COME FOR THE WEDDING...

I am so sorry to hear this. That really suxcks. She should not have left it on a voicemail. She really should have told him herself.
Hopefully he will take some comfort in the fact that is marrying someone who loves him & you guys can start your own new family.

I am so sorry to hear that! I can't even imagine how your FH and you feel. I can't believe people still pull sh*t like this! It's just so hurtful. Many many to you! Hopefully she changes her mind and will be there. If not, just know that she'll realize what a huge mistake she's making and WILL regret it!
