Hi trish, So how are you doing with the plans. I WAS doing great before christmas, but slowed down a bit. I still need to find bridesmaids dresses. I had pick one that I loved all the girls loved it, but they discontinued it. So I need to start again. I finished the video, limo bus, my dress, invitations (I pick the ones I want but haven't ordered yet). Actually they are really nice very fallish. I am meeting with a photographer on monday. So, still alot to go. How many BM and GM do you have in your wedding party. WE have 19, 9 BM and 10 GM. TEll me about some of your plans. ARe you getting married in a church?

Hi - sounds like you're doing a little better than me. We're getting married at St Barnabas church in Bellmore and the reception is at the Hamlet in Commack. So far I've ordered my dress and the bridesmaids ordered theirs - I let them pick their own dresses but they had to be Jim Hjelm in bourdeaux (red wine color). I have 6 BM's and 5 GM's. I'm just looking at photographers and DJ's now. Do you know who you're using? I'm thinking about Long Island Sound and either Marco Photography or Gray Studios. Where did you get the limo bus? I definitely want to get one of those - much more fun than a limo, and it sounds like you need the room!

You should definitly look into the limo bus.I think that they are so much better than limos. You can stand, walk around and there is so much more room. The place I used is in mastic, but the drove the bus to my house so I could see it. THey are very nice. I am drawing a blank on the name of the place but, the woman I delt with was joann her number is 631-395-1466. It came out to 1000.00. I got a bus that holds 25 people. They have smaller limo buses. I am using music by michael, There are so many great posts on him. Check him out. We are paying 1295.00 which is average. For our videographer we are using bellarino productions, again he is all over this site. We are getting the unedited video for 850.00. Then for our one year we'll get it edited for 500.00. Photographer this was the hardest. I couldn't see spending 2000.00 and not really getting anything. So, we are going with a friend of a friend. Who is a fashion photographer. He is charging us 500.00 for the day with an assistant, and then charging us cost for the film, developing and the albums. We really lucked out. Well I hope this helps.

Thanks for the info on the bus - I'll definitely check it out. That's great that you know someone to do the photography. I just saw another photographer this weekend that I liked (Fine Art). I'm thinking about booking them. One more thing off the list!!
