Have fun, I am going for a walk with 2 friends at 1:30. I can't wait. They might have to drag me back in to the building.

Re: A beautiful day

what parts of FL is the 102?? We just spoke to our friends over the weekend and they said its been in the 90's. They are on the west coast.

102 is a lot better then 42. and at least you have A/C and a pool.

Re: A beautiful day

thats way north and east from where we'll be.
Its about 4 hours driving time.

Its weird where our friends are, the weather is always so nice. The summers are hot but not unbearable, when its hurrican season they get rain and thats about it.

Florida is a weird state

Re: A beautiful day

My brothers best friend lives just outside Orlando and has been suffocating. He said they are getting a bad wave of heat and humidity, and serious mosquito problems in the aftermath of all the tornados and crap coming down from the midwest.

Re: A beautiful day

I'd take fresh air on a day like this over central air and outdoor pools forced indoors any day...

Re: A beautiful day

There's the beach everyday

I am a sun worshipper and having the beach 30 minutes away and the beach be one of the top beaches in the US (Siesta Keys) I'll take that.

Re: A beautiful day

I think Florida/Tampa is somewhere we are considering moving to. I have never been there but Roger has and he seem to like it. I would take a place where there is a lot of sunny days any day over this.

Re: A beautiful day

Shamma Tampa is really nice. We flew into Tampa last year and its about an hour to an hour and a half drive from where we will be.

My Brother and SIL moved there, and they are complaining about the heat already, it was 90 and muggy the other day. TOld them to not leave the house in August!!!!

Re: A beautiful day

People think that when they move out there....that just because it's nice to go on vacation, it would be nice to live....but it's not the same.
You can't go to the beach 'everyday' if you have to get up and go to work....
It's just like living anywhere.....Yeah, the beach is nice....but I have beaches here too....It doesn't mean I have time to go to them everyday.

2 friends of mine moved there and moved back for that very reason....
