A big thanks!
To Steph!
I got my magazines too, and Ihave to thank you extra because...
I think I figured out my colors from that issue of The Knot!
I wanted something different, but not something crazy and not extra trendy... and I don't know if I succeeded with the trendy part but, I knew I wanted some kind of blue for September and I fell IN love with the eggplant, cornflower and magenta combo!
It's great because the colors are kinda fall-ish in tone, but not traditional fall, which I knew I didn't want... and they're not SO fall, because my wedding is in that weird change of season area... not super summery but not fall yet either... and it makes flowers SO much easier to have the purple and magenta because to just stick with blue makes things more limited and WAY more expensive since so few things come in blue...
aaaa, sorry for the novel, but I'm excited... I told FH but I didn't show him yet.. he's a little skeptical, but.. I dun care anymore, I like it!
The cornflower in these photos looks a lot brighter than in the mag... but that could just be my comp.. Remember the Cornflower Crayola crayon! It was always one of my favorites!
