We really love these invitations but they cost $9 each. We are not looking to spend that much on invitations, so we are gonna try to see if we can do it ourselves. My FSIL is Martha Stewart JR and she says it can be done for much cheaper... What do you girls think?? Also my color is Navy Blue.
I fell in love with that invite in white, pale blue and periwinkle - it's gorgeous and I hope that you can replicate it!

It doesn't look too hard to do... yet it's SO elegant and different! I bet the hardest part will be finding the papers to look like that! I'm sure you can do it! It's beautiful! Good luck!

go to paper presentation in manhattan they have amazing papers and everything you will need to make those.

Should be easy enough. More time consuming getting the right print settings etc I'd imagine. You can either print the snowflakes or might be nice to use a stamp and emboss them. Make sure you get spare paper to do trial runs on, it's annoying having to make a second trip just cuz you're a few invites short.
Oh, and use glue tape or glue stick rather than liquid glue, it warps the paper.

Those are very pretty. I'm sure you'll be able to do them. It looks like 3 different sized paper glued onto one another so hopefully it won't be too bad! Good Luck and make sure to show us pics when they're done!

Your FSIL is absolutely right! You can make these for less than half of that cost! My mom calls me Martha Stewart (hehe) so feel free to FM me if you would like any tips or instructions to DIY. I am an avid DIYer and I've compared the prices of a zillion great paper vendors, so I'd be happy to share!
