A DJ question

Good Morning!

I'm going to meet with a DJ later today and wanted to know what questions I should ask to ensure a pleasurable wedding day experience....
Suggestions?

make sure that if you book them you have them write the dj /mc on your contract - that way you are sure of having the person you want.

Also ask them if they have ever played at your reception hall before? That way you may not need to pay for a lighting package if your place already has great lighting.

Do you need ceremony or CH music from them?
I'm getting married at my RH and at first I didn't realize that the DJ company is the one who pipes in the music! At some places they also might have to set up the microphone for the officiant. Same thing for the CH. And how how many poeple come with the package you're getting? For example, we have the DJ, MC, percussionist, steel drummer, and lighting technician/assistant - these are all mouths to feed! $$
