I have an awful cold. I can't give it to my animals, right? Can they catch human diseases?

I know cats can catch herpes but I dont know about colds. Wait can cats catch herpes from humans?? Or is their own herpes. OKay, I just confused myself.

NO.. Animals cant catch what we have.... Cats can only catch what other cats have.. And humans cant catch what cats have either... no worries!

My friends cat has herpes in his eye! I wonder if someone had a cold sore on their lip and kissed a cats eye if it would pass on to it??? Sorry I completely changed your topic. Did you try and google if animals can catch colds?? Are you worried about yoru asthmatic cat?
