Sooooo we still haven't told anyone other than immediate family (and you ladies) and tomorrow night we are going out to celebrate a friend's birthday.
Now, I'll admit I like to drink but obviously I won't be drinking tomorrow. I don't think anyone is going to think I'm preg, but just in case... any good excuses for not drinking? Should I hold a beer and just let Danny drink it for me? What would you think if one of your friends who usually drinks wasn't drinking. I really don't want to tell anyone yet.

Can you just be like 'i've been sick the last few days with ____, so i'm on meds and I cant drink while i'm on them? Make something up, like the flu lol
Or tell them you went out drinking the night before and you are still hung over
Will it be something that they'll even notice???

Yeah, tell them you have a cough and you are on antibiotics or something if they ask what type of medication. (My friends would.) But being that you're not married yet, most people wouldn't expect that just because you aren't drinking that you're pregnant (at least I wouldn't). (Please don't misinterpret that - nothing at ALL wrong, in my mind, with you expecting - what I mean is that typically you wouldn't assume that someone was if they ordered a coke and wasn't married. Does that make sense?)

i wouldnt pretend to drink anything b/c that could backfire later on - people might remember that you were 'out drinking' and after you tell them the big news and they might remeber and think to themselves OMG so and so was pregnant and drinking - unless you do this routine alot its not likely to happen but i wouldnt want anyone to think i was drinking while pregnant especially if i wasnt....
maybe you can say you are medication and cant drink - or say you dont feel good???
