Are your guests throwing anything for good luck? (rice, bird seed, rose petal. . .)

If yes, how and when are you doing it?

My mom really wants me to do this, but I'm not really sure how to incorporate it.

we are ahving roses and bubbles at the end of the ceremony before we walk out to the reception area

our church actually allows birdseed. i'm considering it. i'm just worried that it'll be hard to get out of my hair and my dress.

we are doing rose petals as we are walking back down the aisle..the guests will already have them in the hands..our ceremony is outside...
