A Heads Up!

Original post by LIWeddings

Well on December 11, 2005 this website will be 10 years old! WOW, where does the time go? So, I was thinking, what can we do to celebrate? First, after doing some quick math I see that it's possible to reach 3 million posts around the date of our anniversary. Thus we must have a 3 millionth post contest. Second, we have to have one heck of a GTG. Third, well, I need some ideas. So, without being ridiculous what can all of you suggest as some type of anniversary celebration where you are on the receiving end?

FYI - Not looking for one grand prize. Although it would be nice for the winner I would like to share the wealth.

how about a prize for each year, and the last prize can be a honeymoon or free vendor

Oh this would be good. A free vendor. We could call it take a vendor home for the weekend. What vendor would you like to take home?

I think the one thing we can all use is enhancements on the weddings we are shelling out big $$ that we don't have to pay for.

I for one would be beyond ecstatic to get an American Express travelers check to go towards my honeymoon, or like I said, an upgrade from my hall for a mini vienese or chocolate fountain.

maybe photography upgrades and other such things.

maybe you can ask each vendor to give a certain amount of things like upgrades and we can all enter raffles based on our booking or interest.

ex. all Westbury Manor Brides can enter a raffle for an upgrade, and all Jacqueline Nicole Brides can enter for a discount or freebie wedding makeup

Yup, you crossed the line! He has new babies. Think you can wait till they grow up?

How about a cocktail hour party! Since some of us won't be attending or haven't attended our own, it would be nice!

As for prizes/raffles, you can do separate raffles for brides to be and past brides. Brides to be can win gifts such as invitations, chocolate fountains, flowers etc. Past brides can win restaurant gift certificates etc.

This sounds fun!!
