ANYWAY ... my fam was like ok we all know rey and shes going to do what she wants to when i said i was getting married everyone was like yay ..... lol plus weve been living together for a yr ....... i love him he loves me were getting married ... it will last forever and if it doesnt then we will get a divorce its as simple as that ..nothing in life is guarenteed ....

p.s CHRISSY .... sometimes ppl who know each other for one day and get married the next last longer than those who have known each other forever ... so u can tell all those ppl to go one with thier jealous lives

Dont let the people bother you that you're too young. Someone could be 30 and not be emotionally ready to get married, and someone could be 18 and be much more mature. I think its more about life experience, maturity level, emotional capacity, etc.

I just wanna give a big hug to my 19/Almost 20 crew! Fudge what people think, we know what we know and its real!

Ahhhh details. That's why Im glad I have 2 1/2 years to plan

Thanks for the welcome! It really is different for everyone. Some people are ready and some aren't. But at least there seem to be a lot of brides on here who are going through the same 'you're too young' situation as me...I was kinda surprised by that...even though I've been stalking the other boards for months haha. Is anyone else getting overwhelmed by how many details go into planning a wedding????

I'll be 24 in November and everyone still tells me I am too young, I don't think its going to get better until I am like 40! Plus, I'm the first to get married, so I think its tough for the parents.

Hello my name is Rosa. I am 25 years old and Fh and I have been together for 3 years. I am a special education English High School teacher in the Bronx. I currently live with my father and brother (in the Bronx too). Fh lives 5 minutes away and practically lives with us. I am totally wedding obsessed, and can't wait until the day finally comes. Since I have been off for the summer I am on LIW 24/7, b/c I know once I go back to work my hours on here are limited! But it has been great getting to know all the girls and having the support I need during this process!
