I just found out that one of my closest friends here at work has a another wedding the same day as mine. It family AND its on a cruise. When she told me she said she didnt know what to do. I told 'are you crazy? Go to your cousins---its on a cruise' But inside I was very disappointed. I really wish she could have come.

So sorry. I know how it feels to want to have someone at your wedding and you know they aren't going to be there. But you did the right thing telling her to go.

that stinks. I had a friend whose sister planned a wedding like a month before my wedding and she picked the same day! You all can celebrate after. It still will be a extremely special day!

I know its noones fault, and she really was debating on if she was going to go to her cousins or mine. I know she was really looking foward to mine too as much as I wanted her there. I am sure this wont be the one person I will be disappointed that wont be coming.

awwww. i know this feeling, it really ***** cause there are some people you just always assume will be at your wedding. One of FH's best friend'e wives found out a a month after we booked our wedding that her friend was getting married the same day and she was in her BP (he is in ours). she cried the whole day.
I found out yesterday that my own godparents may not make my wedding cause of my godfathers illnes.... so sad about that.
