We already have the priest from my home parish that is marrying us. But, I work in a Catholic School and we just got a new pastor this year who is AWESOME!!! I went over to talk to him today hoping that he would be able to come marry us also. He used to be a military priest and he will be in the reserves when we are getting married. He was so honored and sat with me for 1/2 hour talking about the wedding plans and he even blessed my engagement ring. I know he would have given us a beautiful ceremony too.

you still have a good amount of time - you wouldn't change it? I am getting married in 12 days and we JUST got assigned our priest.

Oh yeah I would change it or even have the priest from my school as a co-celebrant. Unfortunatly, he wont be here. He'll be in the reserves.
