Is this the same thing? I got the pic from the Pottery Barn website....how does this work? Can you just write on it or do you have to do something to it first????

no, I got mine from Cathys Concepts online. It actually comes with an engraved plaque on the bottom but when I got mine it wasnt attached. It says Amy & Anthony July 31st 2005. It really big. Black border. I had to use acid free permanent marker. Hope that helps :) I love it. So far its in my living room hanging up and I just LOVE looking at it. One day I may move it to the hallway or something, but definately something Im hanging. Its a great reminder of all those close to us :)
