A question for all the Queens brides that I know are out there
Anyone have any ideas for where to have my RD? I live in Howard Beach, and I'm kind of sick of the restaurants that are around here. Any ideas? Probably 50-60 people ... TIA!!!

The Parkside in Corona.
The Whitehouse in Whitestone
Verdi's in Whitestone
The Parkside WITHOUT QUESTION
It is amazing, and they are wonderful people. Ask them if they can give you the Marilyn Monroe room upstairs. Create a simple family style menu with them and I know they will take care of you

i second portofinos and also across the street from the bath and body works on austin street is another really yummy italian restaurant but the name slips my mind at the moment. also if you're not having too many people i highly recommend Bann Thai oops wait you said 50-60 nevermind, but who knows maybe you can rent out the place i'm not sure if theres a back room. its a little past the barnes and nobles on austin street.
theres also the family restaurant on queens blvd about a block after portofinos on ascan ave..

I hear that Matteo's on Crossbay is really good. If you want out of the area, then I also vote for Parkside.

My favorite restaurant, Pier 25A on Northern Blvd. in Bayside. It's wonderful seafood if you like that and it has a nautical theme.

Re: A question for all the Queens brides that I know are out there
We had our engagement party at Parkside. They only do parties on Saturday and sunday afternoons and they only have them upstairs in the Marilyn Monroe room. The only prob with that is the max # of people is 50. They say to not go any higher than that or it will be too squishy. The food is great, it's one of our favorite restaurants.I would also recommend Alberto's on Metropolitan Ave in Forest Hills. I think we might have our RD there. it is northern italian so they have dishes with yummy sauces. Great food also.

Villa Russos?
Villa Marchello
We had our e party at Villa Russo. They do have small party menus (small being 75 or less) also Abraciamento's is a good choice.
