OMFG crazy day at work. I am filling in for a coworker on vacation and his coworker just quit.

Just took his bag and left! Leaving me all alone!

He is the nicest guy ever too so we are all shocked that he did that. Must've been holding some major work rage inside

Sometimes, I wish I had balls to do that!

Ugh me too! My co-worker, almost a year ago now, yelled 'F*ck You!' at our boss and resigned. She had to work 2 weeks notice which were the worst ever, but it was a really fun day in the office when that happened!

He didn't even tell our boss! He was here this morning and then everyone kept asking me where he was and I had no clue but was swamped.

Then my boss came and said he got a resignation letter from him

He just slipped out!!!

I am wondering about the 2 weeks notice too. I thought that was mandatory

nope, its not. It's just good business. If you're contracted then perhaps they can hold back time left or something but nope. you can quit right now. You just wont get a recommendation letter from your co lol.
