What did your total head count end up at?

63 adults (still waiting on 1 more answer tho), and 13 kids/vendors....perfect for me!!

I just bought that stay on forever lipstick and am trying it out today -- when I got highlights done sat. they recommended it...we'll see!!

Who make its? Speaking of beauty products, my makeup artist recommended a special mosturizer by Dr. Schwab that keeps me from getting shiny all day. I love it!

I've been using some MD stuff from Nordstrom Spa -- Cleanser/Toner in One, an Eye Moisturizer, and the tinted SPF moisturizer all day. My skin is looking so much better -- less tiny lines and more supple and just healthier-looking. Plus 1 facial a month for the past 3 months doesn't hurt either!! Being 38, I am a little sensitive to the wrinkles thing.

THe lipstick is..........Revlon I think. But Max Factor makes it too. I still have it on from yesterday!! LOL...

Re: A thread just for PlusSize Brides

Is the lipstick the type where the color is one stick, and the sealer is another? I had a problem with that after using it everyday for a few months. I developed this wierd dry patch / almost rash on part of my bottom lip. When I stopped using it, it went away. Then months later, I used it just once when I had somewhere to go and it came back. So I now stay away from it.

I used to go for facials every 3 months. Since we got engaged I was doing it every 2 months. And since July I've been going every month. I love going and notice a big difference in my skin. Plus my facial technician (who happens to be my makeup artist for the wedding) recommended a new mask and toner product that seem to be working really well too. I really like the products she uses and although they are expensive, they are not over the top. I think when I go next week, I might even get the cleanser and daily mosturizer.

I am having the same problem. I have a wedding in Sept that I have to find some for. I havent had much luck. But if I find some thing I will let you know.

I ordered 2 dresses from the Jennifer London catalog that are really nice. I can't decide which. I never ordered from them, but I found the sizes nicely cut. Here's their web site: http://www.jessicalondon.com/

One is a satin sage with an interesting pattern -- only $149. It feels great and it looks pretty good on. The other FH loves because it has a great neckline -- only $99. But I'm not sure I feel comfortable pulling it off. It also is full of sparklies and after I tried it on the damn things were everywhere and making me very itchy! Here are pictures...what do you guys think?

They are both beautiful!! You will look stunning........but stick with what you are comfortable in!!!

Yes that is the kind of lipstuff. I think it must be very drying, kind of like putting paint on your lips. But I will just wear it for the wedding day, so that I don't have to keep re-applying.....

OMG 5 days 5 days!!!

Christine -- you said you were plus size, but now your not.

How'd you do it? How much weight did you lose? How long did it take? You look awesome in the pictures from your shower.

VERY INSPIRING! GOOD FOR YOU!

Re: A thread just for PlusSize Brides

Thanks Amy, I was on A LOT of medication because I have Lupus. I've had it since I was 9. I still have some pounds to shead but I'm just SO not in the mood. Diets didn't work for me because what I would lose I would gain back from the medication. I just had to wait to get off the medication in order to lose weight. It just came off after I stopped the medication. I can't live without it so I'm back on pills but it's not a high dose so I can control my weight. Thanks for the compliment!

Re: A thread just for PlusSize Brides

Nope! I don't remember when she said she was leaving for her honeymoon. She might be in Barbados already!

My invitations went out last Thursday. Some local people received them as early as Friday and yesterday we got our first RSVPs -- 4 total. I'm so excited!

What's everyone been up to?
