I thought it might be good to start our own thread. We're all in the same boat, and we can help each other find things we need, vent about issues, support each other's diets.
Anyone interested?

Re: A thread just for PlusSize Brides
I know alfred angelo had boleros but not sure if he still does. Where did you get your dress from? Think you said Paradise Bridal previously, right? Maybe they can make one for you.

Re: A thread just for PlusSize Brides
Do you girls know if there is a particular dress you would like to try on, if David's Bridal will 'borrow' it for you in a plus size? I know there are a number of salons that will try to do this for you...anyone have any experience with this at DB?

has anyone done a boudior shoot? I want to do it but im nervous
I havent done it yet but i plan on it. I am using jenerations. I hear she is good and she makes you feel extremley comforatble. I've been communicating with her via email and she seems really nice. I would search the bpics thread and look at the pics on there. there are some plus size brides and they look great

Thought I'd bump this.....
I figure I'm going to need some help in this area in the coming months, so I'd like to have the thread at my fingertips.
Anyone else feel the same? Or should we start a new one?

I have not found my dress yet but I have been looking around a lot. In fact I am going again tonight.
Its really a pain because its hard to judge whether a dress would look good on you or not when the sample is way too small.
I totally had this problem, too! I couldn't exactly see the full effect of the gown because it didn't fit properly. Definitely annoying! Thanks for posting this!!!

I am so scared to see myself in a dress that does not fit properly, but I love my curves and the curves will fit in the perfect dress....
I refuse to go dress shopping til i lose 20 pounds cause I k ow myself and if I can't find something i can try on I will cry. I am not willing to take a salespersons opinion of how it will look either so id anyone has any siggestions I'm open to them

Re: A thread just for PlusSize Brides
hey plus size girls getting married in 2012 or early 2013. I want to do a boudoir session, but I figured I would do it with some other girls in order to lower the costs. I also figured it would be a lot of fun. However, I think I would feel better if all the girls there, or for the most part, were plus size. I'm pretty sure my confidence level would drop if I was the only one who wasn't itsy bitsy. I was thinking about taking these photos in late spring, so let me know what you think.
Thanks girls!

This thread is really good but pretty long. Was the issue of where to find the best bra discussed?
