so where in the world can i try on a maggie sottero dress in my size? or atleast a size bigger then a 14???? i called like 15 places off the website and all of them biggest sample is 10 or 14 the lady who had the 10 told me she would get me into a 10 to try on is she out her F(*^&^%ing mind/??? lmaoooo

I'm going to Paradise Bridal Thurs to try on dresses. Was told they have a decent plus size selection. Totally nervous. Hoping this will smack e into reality and get me eating healthier and working out. Don't want to be this big at my wedding.

thanks i def need to check out RK bridal... im in loveee with keneeth pool's dresses and they measure you and make the dresses to fit you but yea they are also $4,000 and up lol sooooo thats a no go

I forgot to mention in my other post that i was also fitted in a size 20 because i was between an 18 and 20 so RK bridal has alot of sizes to choose from and should be checked out. They are great and they make you feel so comfortable.

Hey ladies!

I just wanted to second the recommendation for RK Bridal for plus size wedding dresses. They have the largest selection that I have come across. They also have a decent selection at a number of other places including David's bridal, the wedding center in commack, and the bridal salon at Macy's.

Don't be worried...there are enough places out there to try stuff on. Enjoy it!!!

if anyone is up for the trip - there's a shop in PA (not too far into PA) called Bridaltown. This is where I got my dress.

They have a SEPARATE building for plus size dresses (they have probably 70 dresses in there)...

The customer service is out of this world - we were VERY happy with our experience there! I bought my dress there, but had it tailored locally (just for ease of appointments)...so you can buy and NOT have it altered there...

Tried on dresses at Village Bridal in Babylon (VERY nice staff there, nice selection) and also at Paradise Bridal. They had a decent selection. Ended up going with Paradise since they are so close to my house (literally down the street) and they beat Village's price. Love my salesperson Lolita. She's such a little cutie!

I got mine from Etsy..custom made to the size I liked.

I got my dress from David's Bridal. A lot of their dresses come in plus sizes, however, they don't have all the styles available to try in the store. That was kind of annoying. But luckily I found a dress I loved

I want to as well and will probably do so for our 1 year anniversary. There are some plus size brides that have done a session and they came out amazing. I say go for it. Find a photog you are comfy with and have a blast.

Hi Girls... I am so nervous about how my arms are going to look in my wedding dress. Does anyone know where I can get a bolero or a shrug? Pictures of my dress are in my album. What kind of material should I get??
