Hi... Does anyone have any places that I could start looking for dresses at? I am a size 24/26 in close but I know that I will be bigger in a wedding dress. I have been trying to lose weight but because of some medication I am taking for my asthma it's really hard. I have not been able to sleep the last couple of weeks just thinking of having to go try on a dress. I am freaking out! Please help!
Rk bridal in the city had a big selection of plus sizes. I bought my dress there and they were great. If you decide to go there just go on a weekday...it gets pretty hectic on the weekends. Good Luck!

i haven't started looking yet. i am still trying to lose weight. i was going to wait until feb 2009 to start looking. i think there's a place in huntington that has some plus size dresses and a place in lynbrook that has a lot of plus size samples.

I just tried some dresses on at Princess Bridal in farmingdale. I think that I have found the dress. I just have to go and put a deposit down and order. They had quite a few plus size dresses to try in. They are on Conklin Street.

Thank you so much... I actually found last night a designer called sincerity bridal plus that has beautiful dresses. The place in farmingdale is where they have them. Thank you again

Alfred Angelo has plus-size wedding dresses and plus-size BM dresses too.
Their website has a feature where you type in your zip code, and it shows places near you that sell their dresses.
Thanks, what I like about this designer is he makes dresses for BM that are great for brides who doesn't want to spend a lot for a dress.

so where in the world can i try on a maggie sottero dress in my size? or atleast a size bigger then a 14???? i called like 15 places off the website and all of them biggest sample is 10 or 14 the lady who had the 10 told me she would get me into a 10 to try on is she out her F(*^&^%ing mind/??? lmaoooo

Sorry for crashing but RK bridal in the city they have all sizes..im a size 12 in street clothes but in bridal im a 18 and they had my size.
