Nope! I don't remember when she said she was leaving for her honeymoon. She might be in Barbados already!

My invitations went out last Thursday. Some local people received them as early as Friday and yesterday we got our first RSVPs -- 4 total. I'm so excited!

What's everyone been up to?

FH and I have been moving our stuff into our apartment, it's becoming so real when we start to 'merge' our stuff. We've been getting responses too. We're going to put the wedding stuff on hold until we get the apartment stuff settled. FH will move in and then I'll move in after the wedding (I'm jealous) but it was something we've known we wanted to do but now it's just all too real.

Amy- when do you go for your first fitting???

I go Sept 16th

My first fitting is next week - Sept 7th. A week ago, FH and I started a low calorie diet using SlimFast to supplement. We're keep our daily calorie intake to about 1200, with no more than 1500. So far so good -- the weekend was hard. But I lost 4 pounds, which puts me 10 down from when I ordered my dress. I'm hoping to get down at least another 10 before the wedding, because I really notice it in my face.

Tonight my girls are coming over and we're going to attach the tags to my favors and get that out of the way.

I just wanted to thank you guys for your suggestion about trying Paradise Bridal... It's a bit of a hike for me, but we went last week and I found my dress there!! They were very helpful and definetly had the best selection I had seen.

Now what are you all wearing under your dress? My dress has sleeves so I CAN wear a regular bra... but what else? I HATE the slips-- way too hot for me!

I am going back to order it on September 12- I will post a pic then!

My dress is full enough without an extra slip, so I'm just wearing a long line strapless bra and very tight, very white full cut underwear aka girdle.

Jennie, I got my dress there and it has sleeves, you have to let me know if it's the same one that would be so cool. I have a pic of mine if you want me to post it.

I'm wearing a strapless bra and a slip. I wanted MAJOR poof when it came to my wedding gown so I added a slip for extra poof!

I don't know the designer yet because they cut the tags out and won't tell you until you buy the dress which really stinks!!

But it has bell sleeves and a v-neck line... Lots of crystals on it to make it sparkly :) It's very pretty! When I go back she said I could bring my camera so I will definetly take a pic! I have been searching online but haven't be able to find a pic...

I really don't want the extra slip either, the dress looked okay when I took it off ,and she said it would look better on the real dress because the sample is squished on the racks :)

Where did you get your undergarments? I am clueless with that stuff :)

Someone asked about a good shoe store. Try Craft shoes in commack on jericho turnpike. They have a terrific selection of shoes in wide sizes.

No its not the same but its beautiful!
