I thought it might be good to start our own thread. We're all in the same boat, and we can help each other find things we need, vent about issues, support each other's diets.

Melissa: First -- many many to you.
The pain family inflicts on you can be the worst of all. But as others have said - try to focus on your new husband and your new baby. Those are the important things now.
I also wanted to make a comment about the god-mother situation. I 'settled' at the time I had my child to avoid arguments and I regret it to this day. The godmother lives in AZ now and my daughter doesn't even know who she is. Of course she doesn't know her godfather either - but that's another story! I WISH I had gone with my gut feeling and picked the other person I really wanted.
All this is to say - family issues aside - pick the person who you really BELIEVE is going to do RIGHT by your child. That's whats most important. And the whole point of being a god parent.

h imelissa i am so sorry your family would do all that to you- they sound really wrapped up in themselves. you should try to put it behind you and focus on the good things with your new husband and baby on the way. as far as the godmother situation - go with someone who you know will be there for you and the baby should you need her - your sister doesnt sound like the right person and i think you would end up regretting it later if you did it just to passify your family. i wish i could see the photos too - i havent been able to load photos on this site for over a month what is going on? i am sure you made a beautiful bride
i cant see the amazing weight loss photos either - but wow that is alot and i am sure you look fantastic and are really proud of all you have acomplished with it. i wish i had the determination.
i also agree with amy the ladies on this thread are fantastic. i wouldnt trade in a single one of you lovely ladies for all the tea in china ( big hugs to all ) sorry the emotioncons arent loading either - yeesh

I really really want one of those shirts that say either 'bride' or one a 'soon to be mrs.' on it or a custom one, but every place i look, both online and offline, they only have mediums.... what is the deal with that?

I am planning on buying my hoodie set, you could do the same for a t shirt, I would think and taking it to a place Kimberlybride had her's done, they do embrodiery (sorry I can't spell lol)
