Hmmmm New Years Resolutions:1- Quit Smoking - Well definately cut down. With this wedding planning, not sure if I can cut them out completely.
2- Join Weight Watchers & stick to it
3- Spend a lot less money than I did in 2002!
That's all!

I'm glad I quit when I did, but even so, $7 a pack gives me all the willpower I need not to go back!

I can't believe so many of you beautiful women smoke. I wish you all the best in quitting, I do not know what it is like, but for so many people finding it hard to quit it must be a difficult thing. I wish you all the best in that endeavor.

Shamma, I applaud you on your resolutions. My major ones are:- To post pics!
- for you girl! - Stop planning ahead and live within the moment
- Try not to let the little things bother me ('Don't sweat the small stuff')
- Finish up my degree (MA in Org Psych)
- Make a possible job change (in the same career)
- Cook more (at least learn how to cook more
)- Pick up running again
- Make more time for 'ME'!

Re: A WONDERFUL WAY TO END THE YEAR...WHAT ARE YOUR RESOLUTIONS/PLANS FOR THE NEW YEAR!!!
To seriously assess and evaluate my life and career goals - like Shamma, I am wasted in my current profession as a legal secretary. I'd really like to pursue a Master's in Education with a Bilingual Extension (spanish)- in short, I'd like to be an ESL teacher to elementary school students.I'm not really sure where to start and was actually going to post a NWR post on this - but it's providence that you girls were talking about this when I logged on.
Further to all of this, I need to quit smoking, lose weight, and really, really try to be a better FW to FH. He tries hard for me, and I take him for granted sometimes and I feel horrible when I do. He deserves to get as good as he gives. This has been a pretty crappy year for me (engagement notwithstanding) and I am ready for a wonderful life changing 2003.

Re: A WONDERFUL WAY TO END THE YEAR...WHAT ARE YOUR RESOLUTIONS/PLANS FOR THE NEW YEAR!!!
Thats what I love about New Years... the promise of the future - its when I get to examine what I didn't like about last year and figure out how to change it for the new year...I had a great 2002, probably because I lightened up a lot and stayed positive (and of course, the engagement!!).... and never underestimate the power of positive thinking!

I guess my big resolution is to not get so stressed out by stuff, especially during the time now that we are planning a wedding and are planning to move. I also need to learn how to cook, BIG TIME!!!

2. Utilize my MBA in Personal Financial Planning.
3. Stay focused in my Karate classes.
4. Be more appreciative of what I have accomplished thus far and not be so hard on myself!!!!
5. Find a house!!!
6. Start living for me and my FH instead of our families!
