A WONDERFUL WAY TO END THE YEAR...WHAT ARE YOUR RESOLUTIONS/PLANS FOR THE NEW YEAR!!!

I think this is a wonderful way for us to look at how far we have come and what you will be doing differently if anything than you did in 2002.

Here are my plans:
My plans for the new year is 1) to go back to grad school and persue my degree in education, I am not meant to be in corporate America, I am wasting away here.

I have promised my husband that I will not let anything bother me that I cannot change and I am really working on that. I will also try to live my life like my g-ma did. Letting my life affect people positively at all times. Not one person had a negative thing to say. She was the kind of person everyone loved having around b/c of her positive countenance. I will live my life to the fullest so when my time here is done I will have no regrets.

Have a happy kwanzaa a merry christmas and a wonderful and prosperous 2003 to each and everyone of you.

Shamma you have some great plans!!! (Of course, you always seem to have it all together!!!) Just curious -- are you going for a degree to teach? I am also applying to Master of Education programs at the moment, but for policy and planning in Higher Ed.

Your grandma sounds like an absolutely amazing role model. What a wonderful woman she was!

Shamma- You gave me chills reading this. I am sure you have the will and power to get that degree- ALL THE BEST TO YOU!!!!!!!

My Grandma lives life as your grandma did and it's time we follow thier path. I think I will do the same.

To quit smoking, to excersize daily (good for the heart), and to become a great wife/mother to be in the next few months to come.

My resolution is to exercise and cook more. I don't like to do either, but I know I have too
Oh, and try to get FH not eat while watching TV LOL

My resolutions are to try to worry less, read more, exercise more, and enjoy every moment with my FH and not let things stress me out as much! Some of these will be very challenging for me, I worry about everything!

My plans for the new year are: to exercise more because I feel so much better mentally and physically when I do; to not let the little things in life bother me so much; to appreciate the blessings that I do have (family, health, career); and to get married and begin a lifetime of happiness with my soulmate!

Hmm, Stop smoking, i even hate the smell now. Stick to my exercise plan. Settle into the fact that I will be married soon, enjoy my Fh, family and friends more. Graduate from school and start a new career.

My plans are to loose wieght and make myself a healthier person.

I will also not be such a worrier. I am working on that already...and just to appreciate all that I have in my life..my family and friends. (new and old)


I will try to stop smoking also...that's a tough one, but I really need to do it!!!!!!

My plans are to start exercising and lose some weight. To learn to cook better. To stop smoking (this is going to be my wedding gift to my FI oyyyy lol). And to overall be a more understanding and forgiving person.

For those who resolve to quit smoking, I did it last year (December 19, 2001 - I made a full year! yay!) by doing this crazy hocus-pocus acupressure-type thing and it worked, so don't give up!! And I smoked a pack a day for about 14 years!
