Me and Matzoh are not friends..
I buy the obligatory one box of egg matzoh and let it get stale after the seder.

I have said this before and I will say it again, eating matzah for a week may actually be more difficult than why we celebrate Passover in the first place.

Re: A Zisen Pesach!
My FH's 10 yr old cousin said to me last night:
If this is a holiday about freedom, why are we forced to come to a seder?

Re: A Zisen Pesach!
Can I ask a question? (background first...I grew up in the south, in 23 years living there, I met 2 Jewish people so I am really playing catch up here on LI)
do women wear yamicas (sp?)? I was under the impression that only men wore these, but today while driving to lunch in plainview I saw a lady wearing one. I am just trying to understand, honest...like on wed. I was confused as to why people called asking if our office would be open today.

yes women can wear yarmulkes too. i am a cantor and i wear a kippah (hebrew version of yarmulke, which is a yiddish term). traditionally, jewish married women wear a lace on their heads.

Marnie, I cannot wait to wear the lace at my niece's Bat Mitzvah in a couple of weeks. It will be my first visit to temple since the wedding. Though now that I did my newlywed chop, the bobby pin really has very little to hold on to!
